What Is the G Course?

The G Course prepares you specifically for the Assessment Test (Feststellungsprüfung, FSP), focusing on humanities, social sciences, and cultural studies such as German Studies, Journalism, Law, History, Literature, and Art & Design.

You’ll gain solid knowledge in German language, German literature, history, and social sciences — essential for passing the FSP.

Study Options After the G Course

After successfully completing the G Course and passing the FSP, you can apply for a wide range of study programs in Germany, including Theology, Philosophy, Journalism, Anthropology, Psychology, Law, Political Science, and more.

What Is the S Course?

The S Course also prepares you for the FSP but focuses on language and cultural studies. Possible study fields include Islamic Studies, Classical Philology, Modern Foreign Languages, Translation & Interpreting, and Theology.

Overview of the Assessment Test (FSP)

G Course Exam Subjects:

  • German (written, 240 minutes)

  • History (written, 180 minutes)

  • Social Sciences (written, 180 minutes)

  • German Literature (oral, 20 minutes + 30 minutes preparation)

S Course Exam Subjects:
Subjects differ from the G Course — personal consultation is highly recommended.

Course Details

  • Duration: 2 semesters (38 weeks)

  • Lessons: 28 hours per week

  • Entry requirement: German B1/B2

  • Teaching mode: 1st semester online or on-site, 2nd semester on-site

  • Fees: Registration fee €495, Course fee €5,495 per year

  • After review, you’ll receive an invoice — pay promptly to secure your admission

  • With your admission letter, apply for your visa at the German embassy

  • Copy of your diploma/certificate (original & German translation if available)

  • Copy of your transcript/grade report (original & German translation if available)

  • Proof of B1/B2 language course (can be submitted later)

  • CV in German
