G/S Course Exam Overview
The FSP is administered externally by the Cologne District Government. It includes both written and oral exams.
G Course Examination Subjects:
German: written (240 minutes)
History: written (180 minutes)
Social Sciences: written (180 minutes)
German Literature: oral (20 minutes, with 30 minutes preparation time)

How to Apply Successfully
We’re delighted that you’re interested in the T, M, W, G, or S Course at the Language and Education Institute Bonn (SBIB)! Before the semester begins, you can strengthen your German skills with our preparatory language courses at levels A2, B1, or B2.
Step-by-Step: Your Path to Admission
1. Online Application Submission
You can apply easily and quickly via our online application form. During the process, you’ll be able to upload your required documents directly.
Don’t have all your documents ready? No problem! You can still submit your application and provide the missing documents later.
2. Alternatively: Submit by Email
You can also send your complete application documents directly to us at:

3. Document Verification
Our admissions team will carefully check your documents and get back to you as soon as possible with the result.
4. Payment of Course Fees
Once your documents are approved, you’ll receive an invoice for the course fees. Please make sure to transfer the payment on time to secure your place in the course.
5. Receive Your Admission Letter
After we’ve received your payment, you will receive the official admission confirmation by email.
6. Apply for Your Visa
With your admission letter, you can begin your visa application process at the German embassy. Be sure to include all other required documents.

To apply for one of our Studienkolleg courses, please complete the application form below and prepare the following documents as digital files (PDF or image format):
